The 3rd Hot Rod Magazine Pump Gas Drags was a great success! Now you can see all of the action from the event with this DVD, 1320Video was there to cover the entire event, didn't miss a beat! The bulk of the DVD will be the qualifying rounds as well as the eliminations and finals, there will be some great footage from the test and tune from Thursday night where a few of the competitors bowed out early due to damaged drivetrain parts! Don't worry there was plenty of crazy wheel standing, nitrous back-firing, 8 second pump gas street car action on Friday as well! The basic idea of the event is that all of these drag strip cars are forced to prove just how streetable they are! You MUST run 93 octane gas, you only get 10 gallons of gas at the tech inspection, the 10 gallons must last you for a 30 mile cruise as well as several rounds of racing, all of your basic safety equipment must work (lights, signals, belts, horn, etc), your car must be legal to the times it is running (NHRA legal), you also have to run DOT approved tires! Mickey Thompson drag radials seemed to be the pick of the night! Thank you Hot Rod Magazine!
